Casa Anna is all yours
Casa Anna has a private entrance with outside parking spots. During your stay the whole house and garden are yours, except the storage room, linen room and the shed. The only people other than yourself who will occasionally be on site is our pool maintenance manager and gardener. The house is equipped with everything you need for a fab holiday.
The Farmhouse and garden
How about
- Read a book under one of the many olive trees in the large garden of 9000m2.
- A refreshing swim in the pool and then relax on one of the sunbeds around the pool.
- An extensive lunch at the big table on the terrace or inside in the dining area.
- Walk around the lovely village of Avecasta followed by a drink at Cafe Simoes.
- At night, gaze at the infinite starry skies, or float around in the illuminated pool.
- Play a game of table tennis, petanque or badminton on site.
The bedrooms
Casa Anna has 6 bedrooms, of which 3 have an en-suite bathroom. There is an extra bathroom for the other rooms. Each bedroom has two single beds, that can be turned into doubles by clicking them together. Each room had its own function when it was still a farmhouse.
- Bedroom 1: The Adega – this is where, before our thorough renovation, sausages and hams were dried, on the ground floor.
- Bedroom 2: The Stable – also on the ground floor, opposite the adega, this room housed some of the farm’s animals in the past.
- Bedroom 3: The hay attic – the master bedroom on the first floor used to be the place where hay was dried in winter, using the heat of the animals below in the stable.
- Bedroom 4: The Sunday room – in the past, this room at the front of the house was the entrance to the house and the official living room. We also call this room ‘the green room’.
- Bedroom 5: The Hall – this room on the first floor, which we call the ‘red room’ is next to the ‘green room’ and used to be the hallway that connected living room and attic.
- Bedroom 6: The Attic or ‘sótão’ – is our 6th bedroom, under the roof of the main house. Children love this room!
Fully equipped for you
Casa Anna is fully equipped for 12 guests, young and old. SO yes, everything is there, from towels and pool towels, bedlinen, enough glasses, cutlery, plates and kitchenware.
